The European Parliament finally voted in favor of a bill aimed at reducing anonymity in crypto:

— The law will force crypto firms to collect more data about users and their transactions.

— There will be increased monitoring of non-custodial wallets, and tools that support anonymity, such as cryptomixers and anonymous coins, will be prohibited.

— The legislation will not affect service providers that develop software for purely technological wallets not related to data storage, such as MetaMask.
