A First in History After Halving in Bitcoin!

For the first time in Bitcoin history, the hash power required to generate has exceeded 1EH/s.

In his statement on Twitter, the representative of the on-chain data and analytics platform CryptoQuant touched upon the power requirement, which was realized for the first time in Bitcoin history.

Bitcoin's halving, which occurs every 4 years, took place on April 20. As of that date, the reward earned by Bitcoin miners per block decreased by half to 3.25 BTC. According to CryptoQuant data, for the first time in history, more than 1 EH/s hashrate is required to produce one Bitcoin per day.

Currently, 1.13 EH/s of power is required to produce one Bitcoin.

While this situation badly affects Bitcoin miners, many companies are preparing to increase their power. Marathon Digital, the largest Bitcoin miner in the USA, announced that it plans to double the hash rate this year.
