Inflation #PCE 🇺🇸 April, the Fed's preferred inflation measure, INCREASED to 2.7%, higher than expectations of 2.6%.

Core PCE inflation was 2.8%, higher than expectations of 2.6%

Both CPI and PCE have increased for 2 consecutive months, showing that inflation is still persistent and has not returned to 2% as desired by the Fed.

Today's PCE is also the last important data that the FED considers for its upcoming meeting at dawn on May 2.

The market predicts that more than 97% #FED will keep interest rates unchanged and may have to wait until September or longer for the FED to lower interest rates for the first time in this cycle.
