Satoshi Missed 'Big Opportunity' By Avoiding Date for Bitcoin Halving: Anthony Pompliano

Venture investor and founder of private credit fund Pomp Investments Bitcoin, Anthony Pompliano, logged into his X account to send a message to his many followers about Satoshi Nakamoto and the Bitcoin halving.

He jokingly tweeted that Bitcoin's enigmatic founder Satoshi Nakamoto missed a big opportunity to set the halving day for April 20th. The day is known as Weed Day and more recently as Dogecoin Day, although the iconic meme cryptocurrency was not released in April.

Thus, Pompliano hinted that Satoshi Nakamoto missed the opportunity to integrate his brainchild even more deeply into the consciousness of ordinary people. Bitcoin was created primarily to counter fiat money and the traditional banking system, but weed has been known for decades to be a symbol of “fighting the system.” It is also already legalized in many countries.
