Geoff Taylor, the former CEO of the UK’s recorded music trade body BPI, has joined Sony Music as the new executive vice president of AI, a newly created position that reflects the growing importance of artificial intelligence for the music industry. Taylor will oversee the company’s business strategy and initiatives related to AI, working closely with the global digital business and legal teams.
