Odaily Planet Daily News: Hong Kong will launch Bitcoin and Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as early as next Monday (April 15). Bloomberg quoted people familiar with the matter as saying that the international subsidiary of China Harvest Fund Management Co., Ltd., as well as the cooperation project between the international subsidiary of China Bosera Fund and HashKey Capital, are expected to obtain issuance licenses for Hong Kong Bitcoin and Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds. People familiar with the matter said that once the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission approves the listing and finalizes the listing details with the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, both companies intend to launch the above funds at the end of this month. When asked, a spokesperson for the Hong Kong Stock Exchange responded: "The Hong Kong Stock Exchange is committed to supporting the continued growth and development of its active ETF ecosystem. If there is any new progress, we will inform the market in a timely manner." Spokesmen for the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and Harvest Fund declined to comment.
