On April 13, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) crashed 8.4% after Iran attacked Israel, intensifying geopolitical conflict in the Middle East. 😟

The cryptocurrency fell from around $67,000 to $61,625, wiping out more than $130 million in market capitalization within minutes of the attack.

Iran launched drones towards Israel on Saturday, according to Bloomberg. This was in response to an attack carried out by Israel a few days ago.

The sale also affects other cryptocurrencies. At the time of writing, Ether (ETH) is down 9.81% to $2,927 and Solana (SOL) is down 15.96% to $129.
