recent token presales at #Solana turned out to be fraudulent
Last month there was huge hype around the presales of new tokens on Solana. Users posted their wallet address, collected funds for it to launch the token, and sent new tokens to investors. In just a few days, they managed to loot more than $100 million.
Blockaid security company notes that 50% of recent presales on Solana turned out to be fraudulent. Attackers used social engineering techniques on Telegram, Twitter and Discord to trick users into interacting with malicious smart contracts or websites.
Fraudsters use both memcoins and existing and popular projects as a basis.
