On June 14, Web3 Space and Web3 input method Typeit held a community AMA, and the Typeit team shared relevant content.
Web3 space: Welcome, Ella from Typeit, thank you very much for taking the time to accept our interview. First of all, I would like to ask, can you tell us what is the vision of Typeit?
Ella: Of course, Typeit's vision is to "accelerate the world's transformation from Web2 to Web3". First of all, we see that there are more than 2 billion third-party input method app users in the world, and input method apps are a rigid and high-frequency tool. Therefore, we chose to use input methods to help everyone understand and learn to use blockchain technology.
Through input methods, we can attract more users to use our products.
For our input method, we can let everyone experience the use of crypto wallets, Type to Earn's token economy, voting, airdrops, NFTs and other rich on-chain operations.
After we have accumulated initial users, we will enable more features, such as typing along with Web3 articles, earning income while also learning more about Web3.
We believe that digital currency and blockchain technology are the trend of the future, and we will continue to work hard to develop new products and features to better meet the needs of users and help them better adapt to future developments.
Web3 space: It sounds very attractive. What ways do you think can attract Web2 users to switch to Web3?
Ella: First of all, I think the two most important aspects of Web3 are ownership and token economy. Ownership includes information and assets. Some people may say that blockchain is open and transparent, and thus give up their data ownership, but I think many people often misunderstand this concept. Openness and transparency are to complete the credibility of the verification process, not to be open for the sake of being open. Typeit encrypts and stores all user input information locally to ensure user privacy, which means that all your data belongs to you, not to any other commercial company. In addition, we have launched the "Type and Earn" feature, where users can get token rewards when typing. In the traditional market, commercial companies not only control the data, but also do not give you any rewards. Web3 brings us a generalized proof of work, where everyone can contribute and get rewards fairly. In addition, we also have many marketing activities that can help open up the early user market and speed up the entire project process.
Web3 space: It is really exciting to let users get rewards when typing. So how can Web2 users contact and use Web3 products in this process?
Ella: This is a very good question. Typeit is working with some service providers to connect to MPC wallets and AA (account abstraction) to allow Web2 users to easily have their own Web3 crypto wallets and fully experience on-chain operations. These collaborations will be launched in the next few months.
Both MPC wallet and AA can help us improve the user experience because they allow users to obtain sufficient security without keeping private keys. For example, MPC wallet uses multi-party computing technology to disperse private keys across multiple devices to ensure that users' encrypted assets can still be protected in the event of private key leakage.
In addition, we will also launch the GameFi function, where users can get more token rewards through competitive games and experience the fun of "Play to Earn". We believe that this game mechanism will attract more users to participate and also help us expand Typeit's user base.
Finally, we will also increase our investment in the community. We will add more activities and competitions in the community, and hold more online and offline events to promote interaction and development of the Typeit community.
Web3 space: I see that Typeit has considered a lot about openness in addition to user functions. For example, will you provide a Typeit input method SDK?
Ella: Yes, in the future, we will use Typeit as a basic underlying layer, so that Typeit's SDK can be embedded in any web2 or web3 application. The advantage of this is that Typeit can better protect the user's input privacy. Specifically, Typeit can be used as a dedicated keyboard application for Dapp or App, making the user's input information safer and more reliable. In addition, we also plan to launch a built-in encrypted chat function, which can only be used with Typeit to decrypt plain text, further protecting the user's information security.
In addition, we have also launched in-depth cooperation with Manta Network to explore more possibilities in cryptography and ZK. We believe that such cooperation can bring better experience and higher security to users. Please look forward to more of our features coming online to bring you more surprises and convenience.
Web3 space: Is there anything you would like to share with members and early users of the Typeit community?
Ella: The launch of Typeit was not easy. We are very grateful to all the users who have supported us all the time. It is because of your support that Typeit has been able to develop steadily. At present, we are still in a very early stage. The feedback and keyboard strokes of every user are very important to us, and they are also pushing us to speed up and make Typeit grow faster.
We always believe that our mission is to make the Web3 world come faster. This is a goal that requires us to work together with all users. Therefore, we will continue to listen to the opinions of the community and carry out more and richer activities so that all users can participate in the construction of Typeit. Starting from the basic community consensus, we will step by step build a more complete DAO organization and move towards the future of the Web3 world together!
Web3 space: It is very exciting. So what measures does the Typeit team take to achieve this ambitious ideal?
Ella: First of all, it’s the team. Our members all have rich experience. Each of them has a deep professional background and rich industry experience, and has the ability to develop and maintain high-quality products.
We have developers who have focused on input method development for many years, consultants who provide market advice to more than 100 projects, designers who focus on token economy, marketers with rich experience, and partners from various countries, which can provide us with a solid foundation.
Web3 space: The team is indeed very strong. In addition to the excellent team, what other support does Typeit have?
Ella: We are honored to have received investment from many institutions, such as Lbank, Bitmart, etc. These investment partners can help us conduct more in-depth research and development in technology, marketing and user experience. In particular, in terms of technology, we will strengthen our research work to better meet user needs and market demands. At the same time, we will also use the power of marketing to further expand our user base and increase product awareness.
Making an input method is a simple thing in itself, but when combined with Web3, the difficulty will increase exponentially. In order to meet this challenge, we are strengthening our R&D team, introducing more talents, and improving our technical level. We will also pay more attention to privacy and security processing to protect users' personal information. In addition, we will work with other partners to jointly promote the development of Web3.
All of these are a solid foundation for us to advance the realization of Web3. We believe that with these foundations, we can better provide users with high-quality products and services, and at the same time better support the development of Web3.
Web3 space: It sounds like Typeit has gained a lot of community support. Can you share who Typeit is working with?
Ella: Of course, we have reached strategic cooperation with many well-known project parties and influential platforms. These cooperations include centralized exchanges, which can help us strengthen the liquidity of tokens; public chain ecology, which can enable us to cooperate with more ecological projects; games and X2E platform, which can help us enhance entertainment; ZK and infrastructure, which can help us strengthen the underlying security; and wallets, which can help users use our products more conveniently.
These partnerships provide us with more resources and support for product development and promotion, while also allowing more users to understand and trust our brand. For detailed partnership information, please follow us on Twitter, where we will continue to disclose information.
Web3 space: It sounds like Typeit already has a strong partner network, which will definitely be a big boost to Typeit's development. I heard that you are also planning to set up a DAO organization. Can you share this plan?
Ella: Yes, one of our ultimate goals is to bring together more industry partners through the DAO organization. We plan to set up a DAO platform focused on Web3 and invite other GameFi projects, SocialFi projects, and other Play to Earn projects to participate. We believe that by bringing together the strength of all partners, we can more effectively promote the world's transition from Web2 to Web3.
Our DAO platform will be committed to providing an open, transparent, and democratic governance framework to promote community participation and fair decision-making. We will provide a variety of tools and resources to help DAO members better understand the development trends and latest technologies of the Web3 ecosystem, so as to better respond to market and technological changes.
We believe that through the form of DAO, we can accelerate the arrival of Web3. We will promote the development of a wider range of Web3 applications, and even transform everyday applications into DApps with Web3 properties, such as cameras, notes, calendars, maps, etc. We firmly believe that Web3 will become the mainstream in the future, and our DAO platform will be an important part of achieving this goal.
Web3 space: Such a vision and strategy will undoubtedly bring greater development momentum to the entire cryptocurrency and Web3 industry. Thank you for your time and sharing, and we all look forward to Typeit leading us into the world of Web3.
Ella: Thank you very much. We also look forward to more people joining and supporting us. Let us work together to promote the development of Web3 and realize our common vision.
