I'm sure those who follow Binance CEO CZ or users who follow the Binance social media account have seen a lot of Stay #Safu posts. So what exactly is Safu?

What is Safu?

It is an abbreviation of the words Safu Secure Asset Fund for Users. In Turkish, it means Safe Presence for Users.

SAFU is an emergency fund established by Binance in July 2018 to protect users' funds. When the fund was established, Binance committed a certain percentage of transaction fees to grow the fund to a fairly large level to retain users.

The Safe Asset Fund was valued at $1 billion at its opening price on January 29, 2022. The value of the fund will fluctuate with the market. SAFU fund wallets consist of #BNB , #BTC , #USDT and TUSD.

The SAFU fund is managed by collecting a portion of users' trading fees, and as more users trade on Binance, the total amount of money collected increases.

SAFU wallet addresses:

  • BTC: 1BAuq7Vho2CEkVkUxbfU26LhwQjbCmWQkD

  • BNB ve USDT (BEP20): 0x4B16c5dE96EB2117bBE5fd171E4d203624B014aa

  • TUSD (ERC20): 0x4B16c5dE96EB2117bBE5fd171E4d203624B014aa

After this, the phrase "Funds are safe" began to be used regularly by CZ to ensure that users were aware that their funds were, in fact, safe.

You can make sure that your funds are safe by checking Safu addresses.
