According to Foresight News, Solana’s NFT platform Metaplex announced that it will completely eliminate update, freeze, thaw, and verification instruction fees (fees only apply to creation) in response to community feedback on token metadata immutability plans, eliminating 100% of the fee burden for existing creators and their communities, and reducing integration overhead for developers. Metaplex said that fees may also be adjusted later.
