#ZKFair The latest issue of Launchpad was announced not long ago, which is the recently popular Merlin Chain. Points can be obtained by participating in the event to redeem $MERL, which will last until March 31st.

This is ZKFair’s third Launchpool project. The previous FairStake in the first phase raised funds three times, and HyperionX in the second phase is currently the second Defi project in terms of TVL on ZKFair.

There’s a lot to look forward to at ZKFair in March:

ZKFair will hold a large-scale ecological event with #Lumoz in early March (the first level has been sponsored by 25 project parties), and there will be a total of more than 3000w lumoz points (can be exchanged for lumoz future tokens) and 50,000 USDC distributed. Officials revealed that the format of the event will be very novel.

Whitelisting for ZKFair PFP CyberArmy is now ongoing at @IntractCampaign, but it’s ending soon, so hurry up. The whitelist mint is officially launched on March 2nd, and the whitelist price is $1

In addition, it is said that Lumoz’s new round of financing is on the way and is expected to be disclosed in March with a valuation of US$120 million.

Let’s briefly introduce ZKFair.

ZKFair is the first fully community-initiated L2 chain built through the ZK-RaaS platform Lumoz, built using Polygon CDK and Celestia DA.

When I wrote about RaaS before, I mentioned Lumoz, formerly known as Opside. It is a RaaS project focusing on zk Rollup and contains many innovations: Lumoz has built a decentralized proof network; using a PoS and PoW hybrid consensus mechanism, miners can participate in zk -POW, perform ZK proof calculations; Lumoz also needs to design its own decentralized Lumoz DA.

Since ZK proof requires sufficient hardware computing power, Lumoz introduced a POW proof mechanism, called the multi-chain ZK-PoW mechanism. The POW reward of the current block is allocated to each rollup that submits the sequence, and each rollup in turn distributes the POW reward to the miners who submitted valid ZKP. So how to verify the validity of the ZKP submitted by the miner?

Lumoz provides a two-step verification method:

The first step is to submit the hash value: for a certain sequence, after the prover calculates the ZKP, it calculates the proof hash and submits it to the contract; assuming that the first prover submits the hash in block T, then in block T +10 Before accepting any number of hashes submitted by other provers. On and after block T+11, no newly submitted hashes will be accepted.

The second step is to submit a zero-knowledge proof: after block T+11, any prover can submit ZKP. The prover who passes the verification is deemed to have submitted a valid ZKP and thus obtains the PoW reward (the reward is distributed in proportion according to the amount pledged by the miner. The miner can choose to participate in the mining of one or more Rollup, but each Rollup needs to be in the system contract. You must pledge at least 100,000 $MOZ to have the authority to submit ZKP). If no ZKP is verified until block T+42, the prover who previously submitted the hash will forfeit 1,000 MOZ, at which point the sequence is reopened to allow new hashes to be submitted.

This "submit first, verify later" design is mainly because when Rollup's smart contract verifies ZKP, in order to avoid submitting the original proof to trigger on-chain attacks, it usually needs to perform additional operations to cover up the original proof data. This additional calculation compares time consuming. By using the "submit first, verify later" method, these unnecessary proofs and address aggregation calculations can be avoided, and miners can calculate multiple ZKPs at the same time, thus improving efficiency while ensuring security. In addition, the Lumoz team also enhanced the ZKP recursive aggregation algorithm, improved the utilization of machine resources in the cluster, further accelerated ZKP calculations, and increased ZKP generation efficiency by about 80%.

ZKFair is the first ZK L2 launched on Lumoz’s L2 LaunchBase, with 922,087 participants, and Merlin Chain is the upcoming second ZK L2.

The most special thing about ZKFair is the fair launch: $ZKF is 100% completely airdropped, and $ZKF can be pledged (https://zkfair.io/stake) to share 75% of the network’s gas revenue, and the other 25% of the revenue is also distributed For Dapp developers, no reservation or pre-sale.

ZKFair’s Launchpad also reflects fairness in every aspect: unlike the general token launch method, ZkFair does not confirm the participation share based on the amount of funds invested and the whitelist, but is redeemed through points. Points need to be obtained by participating in the ZKFair ecosystem. It is essentially more like a task platform, but the tasks here also include gas fee expenditures on ZKFair. Judging from these three distribution rules, the distribution ratio is tilted towards the deep participants of the ZKFair ecosystem: including Pass NFT holders (the previous NFT was sold out within 10 minutes of being online), .zkf domain name holders, long-term pledgers, etc. At present, ecological construction is still in its early stages, and more than 60 ecological projects have been deployed. In the future, the project team will select projects with good quality and launch them one after another. This distribution model will help establish an ecological flywheel. You can look forward to the launch of new products in March.
