Google will hold its annual developer conference on Wednesday, Eastern Time. The document shows that the theme of Google’s event is: how artificial intelligence can “help people realize their full potential” and introduces a series of Google’s technical updates in the field of artificial intelligence, including providing “generated experiences” for Google chat robots Bard and Search.
According to Google’s internal documents, at this conference, Google will launch its latest and most advanced general-purpose large-scale language model PaLM 2. PaLM 2, which includes more than 100 languages, has been running internally at Google under the codename "Unified Language Model." It is capable of performing a wide range of coding and math tests, as well as creative writing tests and analysis.
Google first announced its PaLM language model in April 2022. In March of this year, the company launched an API for PaLM, along with a series of AI enterprise tools that it said would help companies "generate text, images, code, video, audio, and more from simple natural language prompts."
