Three quarters of a billion dollars in crypto to be unlocked in July 2024, as projects like AltLayer $ALT Arbitrum $ARB and Optimism $OP finish their lock-up periods. Token Unlocks data shows that in July 2024, the largest crypto asset releases will come from AltLayer (ALT), Xai (XAI), Aptos (APT), Arbitrum (ARB), Optimism (OP), Sui (SUI), Immutable (IMX), and Starknet (STRK). The biggest token unlocks in July are: AltLayer: On July 25, 684 million ALT tokens worth $125 million will be released for the team, investors, advisers, development, treasury, and community. Xai: On July 9, $93 million in tokens will be released for the team, investors, ecosystem, and reserves. In July 2024, Aptos, which previously unlocked $101 million in May and $102 million in June, will release 11.31 million APT tokens worth $77 million. These tokens are for the foundation, community, core contributors, and investors. APT's price has dropped 60% in the last three months, from $17.63 on April 1 to $6.99 on June 28. Arbitrum, which unlocked $95 million in May and $105 million in June, will release another $75 million in tokens on July 16 for its team, advisers, and investors. After releasing 1.1 billion ARB tokens worth $2.32 billion on March 16, ARB prices have fallen 63%, from $2.27 on March 8 to $0.82 currently. Optimism, Sui, Immutable, and Starknet, which unlocked millions worth of their tokens in the last two months, will also release similar amounts in July.
