Arbitrum products

Rollup

Arbitrum One is Layer 2 (L2) using Optimistic Rollups technology. Arbitrum One enables developers to build high-performance Ethereum dApps with low transaction costs and ensuring Ethereum-level security. Arbitrum One is designed for projects in the DeFi and NFT sectors.

Anytrust

Arbitrum Nova is an alternative to Arbitrum One. The key difference between Rollup and AnyTrust is that the AnyTrust protocol introduces an additional reliability assumption in the form of a Data Availability Committee (DAC). This committee is responsible for accelerating the process of storing, clustering, and posting transaction data from L2 to L1 of Ethereum. This allows Arbitrum to be used in situations that require high transaction processing efficiency and low transaction costs. Arbitrum Nova is designed specifically for sectors such as SocialFi, GameFi, Finance.

Orbit

Orbit is Arbitrum's latest product, serving as a toolkit that allows projects to launch Layer 3 blockchains using the Arbitrum network as a foundation layer.

Arbitrum Orbit is a product developed to compete directly with Optimism's OP Stack solution. Currently, no project has announced the use of Orbit, while there are many reputable organizations choosing OP Stack such as Coinbase (Base), Binance (opBNB).

Arbitrum Orbit provides 3 Layer 3 network construction solutions for projects:

Arbitrum Rollup: Allows building Orbit Rollups chain (similar to Arbitrum One) that inherits security from Ethereum with high scalability.

Arbitrum Anytrust: Allows building Orbit AnyTrust chain with extremely low transaction costs for applications with large transaction throughput.
