2026.8.3 Day Market Analysis
Wave-like decline. This week’s major news event is the sudden Trump speech. Trump will also release some ceasefire statements and agreements. (Last month’s CPI data performed very well; whether August can maintain that level—roughly keeping it flat—doesn’t have much of a chance. It can only delay the rate-hike move.) Such data does not support a long-term “bottom-picking” logic…
Medium term: In the first half of the month, it slowly bases, or forms a pin-bar bottom. Then it gradually continues to move upward/rebound long.
Intra-day: 4-hour range-bound oscillation with a downward bias. The golden line is under pressure. This price is the intraday long/short dividing point. Take short-term trades during the day. No matter how it rises or falls, shorts dominate; for range-bound rebounds, focus on short setups. This week’s supports are 1685--60600--61500--1740 (Find opportunities to go short during the day; after the U.S. session starts in the evening, go long. Go long first only when it’s at the right level, then short again.)
Resistance levels: 1920, 1980, 65200, 67200
Support levels: 1810, 1750, 62000, 60600
For ETH on the day: Short at 1890, stop loss 1915, take profit 1805, then 1820; second take profit 1750, 1730.
For the U.S. session support in live trading: Go long at 1805 and 1820. Stop loss 1790. Take profit 30 points or 1860, then 1890.
For BTC on the day: Play a range-trading bearish setup. Short at 63500 and 63800. Stop loss 64200. Take profit 62300 and 62000. Second take profit 61000 and 60600.
Long at 62300 and 62000, stop loss 61800, take profit 800 points or 63500, 63800.
