@Plume - RWA Chain $PLUME – the pioneering project building the comprehensive RWAfi (real asset finance) blockchain – has just appointed Salman Banaei as Chief Counsel, marking a strategic move in global regulatory and policy expansion.

Banaei has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. He was a Senior Special Advisor at the SEC, overseeing national securities exchanges, securities swap trading platforms, and advising on digital asset policy. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Uniswap Labs, Chainalysis, and IHS Markit (now S&P Global), where he promoted blockchain applications in the leveraged lending and carbon credit markets. His career began at the CFTC, playing a key role in implementing derivatives market reforms under the Dodd-Frank Act.

The appointment comes as Plume asserts its position as the largest RWA ecosystem today, partnering with over 180 global partners, including Apollo Global Management, Invesco, UBS, Superstate, along with crypto names like Ondo Finance, Paypal, Paxos. Plume also facilitates access to private credit funds managed by Ares Capital Management, Golub Capital, and KKR through the Goldfinch platform.

Theo CEO Chris Yin, Salman is a convergence of legal expertise and strategic vision to lead Plume at the intersection of TradFi and DeFi. Banaei shared that financial institutions and policymakers are increasingly recognizing the potential of open blockchain, and Plume is one of the few platforms capable of realizing this potential through practical solutions.

This step reaffirms the determination of $PLUME in building a bridge between traditional finance and blockchain while proactively collaborating with lawmakers to establish a sustainable legal framework for the future of tokenized assets.
