According to BlockBeats news, on February 28, Ethereum’s second-layer solution Optimism stated on social platforms that the hard fork of Optimism Goerli is planned to be released in March. The exact time will be announced next week. This upgrade will fix a certain issue in the API. Improve the Bedrock development experience by addressing inconsistencies in some system transaction receipts. Although the bug is developer-focused and does not impact user funds, it does require a fork to be fixed. In preparation for this upgrade, op-geth and op-node updates will be released in early March, followed by an activated fork in mid-March. Users don't need to take any action and won't experience any interruptions or downtime. Partners and project running nodes on Optimism Goerli will need to upgrade their nodes when op-geth and op-node updates are released.
