Sen. Ron Wyden, Ore., says Trump's tariffs have turned the U.S. economy "from the envy of the world to a laughingstock in less time than it took to finish March Madness."

The top Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee said he doesn't "see any strategy" behind Trump's tariffs.

It's "classic Donald Trump," said Wyden during a hearing with Trump's trade representative, Jamieson Greer.
