Law firm Sullivan & Cromwell charges $7.5 million within 19 days of FTX bankruptcy
On February 8, a court document on Tuesday showed that FTX paid Sullivan & Cromwell law firm $7.5 million for its work on the FTX bankruptcy case in November, covering only 19 days, covering fees and expenses from November 12 to November 30. The document stated that 32 partners, 85 associates and 34 non-legal staff worked a total of more than 6,500 hours. The hourly rate was as high as $2,165. The company said that there has been a discount on the fees for senior employees, and the company only asked to pay 80% of the total amount of $9.5 million.
