According to Odaily Planet Daily, David Fischer, the plant manager of a Bitcoin mine owned by Marathon Digital, one of the leading cryptocurrency mining companies in the United States, was found not guilty of 12 noise violation charges in North Texas.

According to Hood County Police Officer John Shirley, more than 40 nearby citizens have filed complaints about noise levels emanating from the facility, saying it exceeds 85 decibels and could pose a public health concern.

The defendants argued that those noise level readings were exaggerated.Another problem in the case was that the noise citation was issued against Fischer, and it would have been difficult for the jury to connect the manager to the source of the noise problem and to what extent he could have mitigated it.
