According to Foresight News, Liquity officially announced that the V2 version of the protocol will adopt the BUSL (multi-year commercial source code license) open source license agreement. Approved independent teams can conduct friendly forks through relevant source code on Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains, while being supervised by the team on the launch of the protocol.

The team hopes to promote innovation and growth while maintaining the integrity of the core protocol deployment, and said that the final code revision and mainnet deployment are scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of this year.
