According to Odaily, cryptocurrency portfolio management company CoinStats has temporarily suspended user activity after 1,590 crypto wallets were affected by a security breach. In an article dated June 22, CoinStats stated that the attack had been mitigated and the application had been temporarily shut down to isolate the security incident.

The company added that due to the immediate incident response from the CoinStats team, only 1.3% of CoinStats wallets were affected, totaling 1,590 wallets. The connected wallets and CEX were not affected. CoinStats stated on its website that the users' assets are 'completely safe under any circumstances' as it 'requires read-only access to the connected crypto wallets'. The platform allows users to connect all wallets and use them as a comprehensive crypto investment portfolio tracker, enabling a one-stop view of all wallets.

CoinStats has released a Google document listing all currently affected crypto wallets. The document mentions that as the investigation progresses, this list 'may change', but significant changes are not expected. It stated, 'If your wallet address is on this affected list, please use the private key to immediately transfer funds.'
