CoinGecko may have been affected by the attack on its email address book provider, and warns users to beware of phishing emails

According to Odaily Planet Daily, CoinGecko co-founder Bobby Ong posted on the X platform that an email address book provider is under attack and CoinGecko may also be affected. They are actively working with the provider to investigate and determine the impact of the leak.

Ong also mentioned that they have found some phishing emails impersonating Coingecko. He stressed that Coingecko currently has no plans to issue tokens, so users should not be deceived by these phishing emails.
