According to ChainCatcher, Oasis Labs, the developer of the privacy computing network Oasis Network, announced that its privacy-preserving data analysis product Oasis PrivateSQL has been officially launched on the Google Cloud Marketplace. Oasis PrivateSQL uses differential privacy technology to automatically generate privacy-preserving versions of aggregated statistical queries, which are applicable to various SQL databases, achieving a balance between protecting personal privacy and data practicality. Oasis PrivateSQL does not require any modifications to the database, table, or schema, and data can be retained in the existing cloud database without the need to anonymize or delete shared data.
Differential privacy provides mathematical guarantees that the output of analysis does not reveal sensitive personal information. Organizations can extract valuable insights and perform advanced analysis while protecting the privacy of individuals in the data.
