According to PANews, the "2024 Global Cryptocurrency Ownership Status" report released by Singapore payment company Triple-A predicts that by 2024, the global digital currency user base will reach 562 million people, accounting for 6.8% of the world's population, an increase of 34% from 420 million in 2023. Among them, cryptocurrency holders aged 24-35 account for the largest proportion, reaching 34%. The UAE, Singapore and Turkey are among the 30 economies with the highest cryptocurrency ownership rates. In terms of regional distribution, Asia maintains its lead in cryptocurrency holdings, increasing from 268.2 million to 326.8 million, and North America holds 72.2 million.
