According to Foresight News, DePIN L2 project Swan Chain launched a new distributed computing solution, introducing the concepts of edge computing provider (ECP) and fog computing provider (FCP). This framework sinks computing power to edge and fog nodes, builds a high-performance, low-cost distributed AI computing infrastructure, and helps innovative applications land.

As of May 24, Swan Chain's Proxima testnet has covered 30 cities in 15 countries around the world, with more than 120 FCP nodes and more than 550 ECP nodes. Currently, the computing network ECP has generated more than 230,000 ZK-Snark proofs for the Filecoin network, and will integrate ZK proof systems such as Aleo, Scroll, and Starknet in the future.

It is reported that the Swan Chain mainnet is expected to be launched in June. Currently, the last round of testnet activities is in progress. Participants can deploy FCP/ECP nodes according to the tutorial to contribute idle computing power and obtain Swan points that can be exchanged for tokens during TGE.
