Hong Kong police are hunting for at least four men who kidnapped a female cryptocurrency investor and attacked her husband with a stun gun during a vehicle interception incident at about 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Wu said, according to the South China Morning Post.

The kidnapped 55-year-old woman was released about an hour later, and preliminary investigations showed that the case was related to a financial dispute involving 15 million Hong Kong dollars (about 1.9 million U.S. dollars) in virtual currency investment. At present, the police have not arrested any suspects and are treating the case as a case of "illegal detention" and "assault."
