According to Odaily Planet Daily, cantelopepeel.eth, an engineer of Solana node validator Firedancer, posted on the X platform that the final integration of the Firedancer client is progressing smoothly and the first comprehensive test is coming soon. At the end of October last year, the Solana Foundation announced at the Solana Community Annual Summit Breakpoint that Firedancer, developed by Jump Crypto, has been successfully launched on the test network. The development of Firedancer aims to enhance the diversity of node clients, enhance the stability of the Solana blockchain, and further improve Solana's resilience and anti-attack. Compared with Solana's first client, Firedancer was developed in C/C++, which not only improves its compatibility and memory efficiency, but also helps reduce the cost of running Solana nodes.
