According to Wu, Tim Beiko discussed the following topics in his summary of the 186th Ethereum Executive Core Developer Meeting (ACDE): The preparation progress of Pectra Devnet 0, the relevant EL specifications have been determined, but the launch time has not yet been determined. EIP-7212 and EIP-7623 are listed as CFI to be considered. Considering that 7 EIPs have been identified for inclusion in the Pectra upgrade and these EIPs have not yet been implemented, the EIPs supported by the team will be temporarily included in the CFI to be considered list for further consideration. EIP-7212 is the first Rollup improvement proposal, which aims to achieve secure, cost-effective verification of the secp256k1 curve, and will rebuild the way signatures work, thus creating the prerequisite for the network to switch to a smart contract wallet mechanism. EIP-7623 aims to increase the CallData cost of transactions with large data volumes to encourage such transactions to use Blobs and reduce the difference in L1 block size. The meeting also discussed the EOF progress and whether the scope of EOF should be reduced to avoid affecting the progress of the transition to Verkle. EOF stands for EVM Object Format, which makes some changes to Ethereum's code execution environment. Finally, the meeting also considered the governance and standardization of L1 and L2.
