According to Odaily Planet Daily, a Tether spokesperson said the company remains committed to stopping transactions with entities sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) after reports that Venezuela's state-run oil company was using its stablecoin to circumvent sanctions. The spokesperson stressed: "Tether respects the OFAC SDN list and is committed to ensuring that sanctioned addresses are immediately frozen."
