According to U.Today, Shibarium, Shiba Inu's second-layer solution, recently suffered an outage, Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya posted a post on the X social media network. Dhairya explained that the outage was caused by network problems between validators. Currently, the network has been restored. However, Dhairya pointed out that Shibariumscam, a popular website that tracks the health of the Shibarium network, and external remote procedure calls (RPCs) may still be down because the team is dealing with external problems. External teams working for Shibarium at the infrastructure level are encouraged to contact Dhairya about recent technical issues. Shibarium has often encountered technical difficulties since its launch in August last year. However, according to data provided by Shibariumscam, the network has been quite successful. The Shibarium blockchain has now exceeded 400 million transactions, while the number of wallets is close to 1.7 million. On the 15th, it recorded nearly a million transactions. However, on April 21, the number of transactions dropped to only 10,040. U.Today reports that the popular meme coin Shiba Inu has recently experienced a double-digit price increase, along with other joke cryptocurrencies such as Solana-based Bonk (BONK). According to data from CoinGecko, the price of Shiba Inu (SHIB) has fallen by 1.8% in the past 24 hours. It is unclear whether this small drop is related to profit taking or recent technical issues with Shibarium.
