According to Odaily Planet Daily, mobile communication service company Cape has received a total of US$61 million in investment, including US$21 million in seed rounds and A rounds, and US$40 million in B rounds. This round of financing was jointly led by A-star and Andreessen Horowit, and XYZ Ventures, ex/ante, Costanoa Ventures, Point72 Ventures, Forward Deployed VC and Karman Ventures participated in the investment.

Cape, a Washington, D.C.-based startup founded by former Palantir executives, announced a mobile service designed to provide a more secure communications experience. The service will be sold on a prepaid basis, with the primary goal of providing users with eSIMs. The company's CEO John Doyle said they will launch commercial services in June.
