According to Foresight News, GnosisDAO initiated the GIP-98 proposal, planning to invest in HOPR to promote Gnosis's focus on privacy. HOPR will build a private and decentralized Gnosis VPN on top of the HOPR mixnet. The voting for the proposal will end on April 23. The proposal consists of two phases: first, a set of VPN libraries and Gnosis VPN browser extensions will be built, followed by future product expansion and user experience work. In return for its $1.5 million investment, GnosisDAO will receive HOPR tokens at a 30% discount.
