According to Odaily Planet Daily, members of the British Parliament unanimously called on the government to invest in skills development to meet employment needs in the cryptocurrency, blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) industries. In a debate on Tuesday, MP Lisa Cameron urged the government to ensure that digital skills are taught from the early stages of education and even in the workplace. Cameron said in a press statement that although the UK has the ability to take advantage of the opportunities brought by the growth of the digital economy, it still needs a lot of preparation and investment in education, training and skills to make full use of these opportunities and ensure that the UK has the necessary talent pool to help it achieve its goal of becoming a technological superpower.
