Jan van Eck, CEO of global investment company VanEck, believes that the cryptocurrency industry should pay more attention to transaction fees rather than focusing too much on Bitcoin and Ethereum or their related ETFs, according to Odaily Planet Daily. He pointed out that the transaction fees of Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains are unstable, so more attention should be paid to the transaction fees of Solana or various L2 networks.

He also said that the Ethereum spot ETF is unlikely to be approved before the May deadline because, unlike the approval process for Bitcoin spot ETFs, the U.S. SEC has not responded to applications from potential issuers.
