According to Foresight News, the Cosmos ecosystem scalability protocol Saga said that the mainnet is ready to enter the first phase, which will involve the launch of the security chain and the launch of the gated platform chain to ensure security and stability. The second to sixth phases of the mainnet are: Phase 2 introduces an intermediate step involving shared security of the basic subset, establishing a connection between the security chain and the platform chain.
The third phase involves chainlets absorbing shared security from the platform chain; the fourth phase begins the migration process from the platform chain operated by Saga to a set of external validators. This phase marks the first time that external validators participate in running the platform chain.
In the fifth stage, the platform chain is now run by all 21 validators, and all chains are also run by these validators; Phase 6: This stage marks the activation of slashing, which starts a mechanism to punish validators for improper behavior.
