According to WuSay, MakerDAO co-founder Rune Christensen warned that the EU's specific interpretation of the MiCA regulation could lead to a disruption in the development of DeFi. Europe's financial regulators are said to be likely to require each DeFi front-end in the region to register and operate under a license. Christensen expressed his concerns about the impact this decision could have, saying that "it would make DeFi front-ends based on ordinary Internet domain names unfeasible."
