According to cybersecurity firm Kaspersky, only 25% of respondents were very aware of potential cryptocurrency cyber threats, while 23% were not aware at all.

The report also found that nearly half (49%) of respondents have been affected by cryptocurrency crime in some way, and 40% of cryptocurrency owners do not believe that current cryptocurrency protection systems are effective.

“This survey highlights the need for greater awareness and education about the potential risks facing cryptocurrency holders. As the adoption of digital assets continues to grow, it is critical that individuals take appropriate steps to protect themselves from cyber threats,” said Vitaly Kamluk, Head of APAC at Kaspersky’s Global Research and Analysis Team.

Additionally, cyber threats such as virtual theft and scams were among the most frequently cited negative factors in cryptocurrency use, with 27% and 26% of respondents saying this was their biggest concern, respectively. (Business Insider) #cryptotrading, #SHIB, #dyor
