The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday refused to overturn a New York court's ruling in the case of U.S. President-elect Trump's payment to former porn star Daniels for falsifying Trump Organization documents.
The court ruling read: "The application for a stay of judgment is denied for the following reasons. First, the alleged evidentiary violations in the New York State court's trial of President-elect Trump's case can be reviewed through the normal appellate process. Second, the impact of the judgment on the duties of the president-elect is relatively small, especially considering that the trial court indicated that it would make an "unconditional release" decision after a brief online hearing."
Trump was accused of falsifying documents in a case involving hush money payments to two women, including former porn star Daniels, to cover up his alleged relationships. In this case, the jury has found Trump guilty on all 34 charges.
