According to a report from Fox News reporter Eleanor Terrett on January 9, the U.S. House Financial Services Committee has officially announced its new leadership structure. Among the appointments, Bryan Steil (WI-01) will serve as the chairman of the Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee, Bill Huizenga (MI-04) will become the vice chairman of the committee, and Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) will serve as the committee whip.

In other important appointments, Ann Wagner (MO-02) will lead the Capital Markets Subcommittee, Andy Barr (KY-06) will chair the Financial Institutions Subcommittee, and Warren Davidson (OH-08) will oversee the National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions Subcommittee. Additionally, Dan Meuser (PA-09) and Mike Flood (NE-01) will serve as the chairmen of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee and the Housing Insurance Subcommittee, respectively.
