Avraham “Avi” Eisenberg, convicted of fraud and market manipulation using Mango Markets, will be sentenced on April 10.
In a document submitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) on January 8, Judge Arun Subramanian postponed Eisenberg's sentencing hearing to April 10 at the request of Eisenberg's attorney. He was initially scheduled to be sentenced at a hearing on December 12, which was later postponed to February 11 due to a conviction in April 2024.
The legal team for the Mango Markets attacker requested a delay on January 7 due to the 'complexity of the factual record of the case and some sentencing issues.' The U.S. Attorney's Office did not oppose this change. (Cointelegraph)
