According to Techub News, Cointelegraph reported that the cryptocurrency wallet Tangem mobile app has a serious security vulnerability that can collect the private keys of some users through email. At present, Tangem has acknowledged the problem and stated that the incident originated from a vulnerability in the log processing of the mobile application, which has now been "completely resolved."

Tangem said that "when creating a wallet using a mnemonic phrase, the private key was mistakenly recorded in the app's logs. These logs were later accessible when interacting with our support team." Tangem confirmed in its Reddit response that "all logs and attachments sent to the support team have been permanently deleted to ensure that there is no residual data." Tangem said that the vulnerability only affected a small number of users and they are actively contacting them.
