What is dappOS?

dappOS is an intent execution network that fundamentally changes the way users interact with decentralized blockchain systems. Users no longer need to manually complete multiple steps in traditional dApps; they can focus solely on their goals they want to achieve through dappOS. 1. Users create orders by signing to confirm the entire workflow, including on-chain interactions across one or more chains, cross-chain assets, and fees for using the dappOS network.

2. dappOS sends orders to the dappOS network via JSON-RPC.

3. The dappOS network will delegate the orders to one of the permissionless nodes, ensuring that the orders are executed well, otherwise, that node will compensate the user for the losses.

4. Under the incentive of rewards, the selected nodes will execute the entire workflow, including cross-chain assets and on-chain transactions (from the user's virtual wallet to the DApp contract).

dappOS ecosystem

The dappOS ecosystem consists of several key roles.

1. Users: Publish intentions by initiating operations based on the dappOS framework.

2. Service providers: Execute various intent services. They can start taking user intentions and earning income after staking a certain amount of dappOS tokens as collateral.

3. Execution validators: Validators are responsible for verifying the execution of tasks, and if service providers fail to complete tasks as required, validators have the authority to impose penalties.

4. Matchers: These components match your intentions with suitable service providers to ensure you achieve the best intent results.

How does dappOS work?

The dappOS Network aims to provide a seamless user experience for using dappOS accounts across different chains. To meet the requirements of running current DApps and deliver the best user experience, the network offers the following two fundamental services:

  • Cross-chain assets. In most cases, the fees should be slightly higher than gas fees, and the time should only be slightly longer than a transaction on the source chain plus a transaction on the target chain.

  • Executing on-chain transactions from virtual wallets. Users should be allowed to pay gas fees using tokens from different chains, assets in CEX, or even fiat currency.

There are two types of nodes in the dappOS network: supernodes and server nodes. Supernodes delegate commands and penalize server nodes for misconduct. Server nodes accept commands from supernodes and earn profits by executing them.
