Bitstamp, the world’s oldest cryptocurrency exchange, has issued a bold and promising forecast for XRP by the end of 2024.
In a tweet on Friday, the exchange boldly stated that XRP will make history in the crypto market by 2025. Bitstamp’s tweet quickly spread through the crypto community, with the XRP army cheering in support of the promising prediction.
While Bitstamp did not explicitly specify what milestone it hopes XRP will reach by 2025, the most likely guess is its price. Aside from price, other expected milestones in 2025 regarding XRP include the conclusion of the Ripple lawsuit and the launch of ETFs.

Historical XRP Price by 2025
XRP has been trading below its all-time high for seven years. It last peaked at $3.84 in January 2018 before falling to $0.1151 by March 2020. That represents a staggering 97% loss, which occurred even before the XRP lawsuit.
Since that low of $0.1151, XRP has risen 2,420% in value over the past four years to reach a multi-year high of $2.90 on December 3, 2024. However, XRP has since pulled back slightly and is now trading at $2.37. At this price, it is trading 38.69% below its all-time high.
Meanwhile, popular forecasts, such as the latest from Bitstamp, suggest that XRP will finally achieve a historic milestone in 2025. In that context, XRP only needs to rise 62% to reclaim its 2018 all-time high of $3.84. Further gains would mark a new chapter for XRP, an event that the XRP army is eagerly awaiting.
Market commentators have offered multiple views on how high XRP could go by 2025. For some, a realistic all-time high for XRP is between $5 and $8, while for more optimistic analysts, double-digit values between $10 and $20 can be expected.
However, some ambitious analysts believe that prices above $100 are achievable, although such predictions have been wisely dismissed as mere speculation and wishful thinking.

Commenting on Bitstamp’s predictions, analyst JayDee agreed that XRP will make history by 2025. However, he noted that the vast majority of XRP holders may fail to capitalize on the promising market in 2025.
Specifically, he believes that 95% of coin holders will receive “rekt,” suggesting that those who are forecasting overly ambitious XRP prices by 2025 may be left holding the bag after the dust settles from the historic rally.
