Do you know why it's very difficult for BTC Layer 2 to grow significantly?
A core reason is liquidity. The liquidity of BTC is mostly controlled by BTC OGs, exchanges, and institutions. They won't exchange real BTC for fake BTC; this group of people has a deep understanding. If you think you can just create some EVM Layer 2 and trick them out of their BTC, that's not going to happen. You can only attract retail investors to come and play, but retail investors have little capital.
In contrast, for ETH and SOL, the whales in ETH and SOL really do play on their chains, so liquidity is abundant.
