If you find yourself in a trapped situation, how should you respond?
In the field of investment, being trapped is a common and tricky problem. Having experienced two bull markets, I would like to share some experiences in getting out of such situations, which can also be viewed on my homepage.
When trapped at a high position, you can adopt the following two strategies: first, wait for the market to rebound and then exit at the appropriate time; second, sell a portion of your assets when prices are high to reduce your position and thus cut losses. Once the market undergoes a sudden change, it is crucial to decisively execute stop-loss operations and consider making counter trades to recover the losses incurred.
If trapped at a mid-level position, do not rush to cut losses. Observe the trend calmly and patiently wait for the right opportunity to reduce your position while also exploring opportunities to increase your holdings through technical analysis to compensate for losses.
If trapped at a low position, you need to have enough patience. Look for opportunities to get out when the market retraces, or moderately reduce your position when prices are low.
