Against the backdrop of a heated election race, cryptocurrencies created in honor of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are showing volatility. The PolitiFi tokens dedicated to both candidates are being dumped ahead of the elections. In particular, the parody token Kamala Horris has risen 58% over the week, while Trump-related tokens are mostly declining. In the last 24 hours, the Maga token (related to Trump's slogan) has decreased by 0.5%, Maga Hat has lost over 16%, and the Doland Tremp coin has dropped by 6.4%. Harris's tokens have also fallen: Kamala Horris lost 9.6%, and Kumala #Herris dropped by 0.6%. However, tokens like #TRUMP remain profitable and have shown a gain of 1171% over the year. This surge of interest in political cryptocurrencies ahead of the elections indicates that digital assets are becoming a new arena for political struggle and meme culture. Bets on the election outcome also vary. Platforms like #Polymarket lean towards Trump, although Emerson College and Morning Consult polls show that the race will remain tight: both candidates are tied at 49%, with Harris holding a slight two-point advantage.
