SHIB Developer Warns: Scammers Acquiring X Accounts of Community Members to Issue Fake Coins for Fraud

Foresight News reports that the anonymous chief developer of the Meme project Shiba Inu (SHIB), Shytoshi Kusama, has warned of a recent scam where fraudsters are acquiring X accounts of community members previously followed by Shytoshi Kusama for 1 ETH, renaming them to scam tokens, and launching fake tokens, claiming the project is community-driven. Users are advised to be vigilant against this scam. Shytoshi Kusama stated that a system related to Karma and Reputation with DAO governance will be introduced to ensure good behavior is rewarded and bad behavior is recorded.
