Following our initial support announcement for the Scroll Sepolia Testnet, Celer is excited to announce that we’ve launched cBridge and Celer IM support for Scroll Mainnet! This exciting development marks a significant milestone in our strategic partnership with Scroll and represents a major step forward in achieving seamless interoperability across more blockchain and layer-2 ecosystems! With this integration, Celer is introducing seamless token bridging and generic message passing to Scroll. Celer is initially starting off by supporting the bridging of ETH between Scroll and our other supported chains on cBridge. This enables users to transfer ETH between the various protocols with ease.

Celer is supporting asset and token bridging initially via the xLiquidity model, a liquidity pool-based method for token transfers between Scroll Mainnet and other chains. Additionally, with Celer’s Inter-chain Messaging Framework, integrated with Scroll—it enables developers to build dApps with seamless cross-chain application logic. dApps are not only able to create smooth cross-chain UXs across the various chains and layer-2’s, but can support features like NFT bridges, the ability to purchase and bid on NFTs across different chains, and cross-chain reward claiming. All of these and more are not only possible to accomplish with Celer IM, but can be offered to users as a single-click, single-transaction UX.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates as Celer continues to expand our interoperability efforts and support additional tokens and chains. The possibilities are endless, and we invite you to join us as Celer helps shape the future of interchain connectivity.

About Scroll

Scroll is a native zkEVM Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum with lower costs, faster speeds, and infinite scaling, without sacrificing security or decentralization. With bytecode-level compatibility and high composability, building on Scroll is nearly identical to building on Ethereum. Scroll is a globally decentralized team founded in 2021 to solve the Ethereum scaling trilemma. Highly community-focused, Scroll has been building in the open since day one and has contributed significantly to Ethereum’s public zkEVM alongside the Ethereum Foundation’s PSE team. With an eye toward increased decentralization, Scroll’s next milestones are setting up a decentralized prover network and decentralized sequencer.

About Celer Network

Celer is a blockchain interoperability protocol enabling a one-click user experience accessing tokens, DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, governance, privacy solutions and more across multiple chains. Developers can build inter-chain-native dApps using the Celer Inter-chain Message SDK to gain access to efficient liquidity utilization, coherent application logic, and shared states. Users of Celer-enabled dApps will enjoy the benefits of a diverse multi-blockchain ecosystem with the simplicity of a single-transaction UX, all from a single chain.
